On reviewing the evidence I was fully satisfied as to the man's seditious tendencies and I accordingly ordered his deportation to India, informing the Indian Government. Haroon's business in Swatow was subject to a bill of sale in the sum of $10,000, a sum considerably in excess of its value, and so it seems probable that he has suffered no great financial loss by his de-

portation.
